Advertising Operations Manager

Locations: London, UK
Field: Online Advertising
Reports to: Korean Managing Director

Objective
Lead the definition, design and build of all elements of the advertising operations process and operational capabilities in Korea. This is most definitely a 'hands on' role and needs a good all round knowledge of the Korean local online advertising business - full and extensive technical support will be available from the Phorm central offices

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of Ad Operations capabilities in Korea
  • Provide feedback and input into the development and localization of ad systems and work closely with the development team to prioritize delivery
  • Work closely with local Advertiser, Publisher and Account Management teams to ensure 'seamless' online advertising delivery and 1st/2nd line support
  • Manage Behavioral Targeting processes including targeting segment development and all related activities.
  • Design and document the ad ops processes for both advertisers and publishers
  • Lead development of internal and external training materials for the Phorm ad systems
  • Define the resource requirements, build & manage the ad ops team including traditional traffickers as the business grows

Qualifications

Core Skills

  • Degree from an accredited university
  • Previous experience and knowledge of the Korean online advertising landscape, preferably in a Ad Operations role
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong computer application skills (Excel, Word, etc.)

Preferred Skills

  • Working knowledge of a variety of ad serving software
  • Extensive knowledge of third party advertising tags
  • Good knowledge of HTML,Flash, Javascript or Flash

Systems Administrator

Locations: London, UK and Seoul, South Korea
Reports to: Global VP Technical Operations

Objective
To provide Systems administration support to the Korean and UK businesses utilizing your 3 years or more of Linux admin experience. Provide troubleshooting, installations and maintenance of both software and hardware for internal and external customers.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Ensure the effective and timely resolution of all escalated technical problems and support requests.
  • Ensure all support requests are delivered effectively & in accordance with agreed service levels, standards and procedures.
  • Troubleshooting in production environments and assisting 1st and 2nd line support teams.
  • Working knowledge of TCP/IP Networks including DNS, DHCP, RADIUS
  • In Depth knowledge of Apache, and MySQL,
  • Perl and PHP Scripting experience
  • Support the release of software, maintenance and patches to all environments
  • Be prepared to operate on a 24/7/365 on-call basis
  • Work closely with the development, deployment and other teams to identify improvements in tools, processes, procedures, installation, configuration and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of ITIL processes, procedures, their subsequent implementation, documentation, training and awareness
  • Work closely with the Project, Tech Deployment, Infrastructure and QA teams on integration of Phorm systems
  • Strive for operational excellence at all times
  • Be Professional and courteous customer interaction via various channels including telephone, e-mail, and face-to-face meetings.
  • Interaction with third parties for Level 3 technical support.
  • Assist in development of Phorm platform and configuration
  • Troubleshooting ISP installations
  • Assist in Remote troubleshooting and diagnosis.
  • Assist in installations of new hardware installations.
  • Liaise with local vendors and 3rd party support partners on all support and procurement requirements

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • RHCE, CCNA preferable.
  • A UNIX (preferably Linux) background is essential
  • Practical experience with Cisco, Oracle, F5 and Juniper technologies.
  • Perl scripting abilities, Knowledge and experience of Open Source software (compilation, installation, configuration etc)
  • Excellent oral communications skills including documentation
  • Able to effectively organize and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience of RMDS systems
  • Experience of installing and operating Virtualized environments
