David Pester
General Counsel

David Pester, General Counsel, is the chief legal officer at Phorm, responsible for the worldwide management of Phorm's legal functions. Prior to joining Phorm, David was VP Corporate Counsel at AT&T Corp., heading AT&T's M&A Legal Group and serving as Assistant Corporate Secretary. Before joining AT&T, David was a corporate associate at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison, where he specialized in M&A, securities law, corporate finance, corporate governance and compliance.

David graduated from New York University School of Law, Magna Cum Laude, in 1991 and from Cornell University with a B.A. in Economics, with Distinction in All Subjects, in 1988. He has also served as the Secretary of the Corporation Law Committee of the NYC Bar Association and is a member of the Order of the Coif and Phi Beta Kappa Honor Societies.
