Marc Burgess, Senior Vice President of Technology, is responsible for the continuous running of Phorm's technology infrastructure. He has over 10 years experience in internet design, implementation and policy development. His IT career began in network communications and firewall security. He has held senior IT management roles at Greenwich Natwest and Barclays Capital, in information risk management, e-commerce infrastructure policy and design specification. Prior to joining Phorm (then 121Media) in April 2004, he was Vice-President of Infrastructure for ValueCommerce Co. Limited, one of Japan's largest online affiliate marketing companies, overseeing the design, implementation and operation of an internet-facing infrastructure handling 200 million hits per day.
