Systems Administrator

Location: New York, NY
Reports to: Technology Director

Objective
To be the primary tech liaison with ISP partners and oversee implementation

Primary Responsibilities

• Tech liaison with ISP partners
• Assist in development of Phorm platform and configuration.
• Tech implementation in ISP infrastructure (via remote access)
  
• Troubleshooting ISP installations
  
• Liaison with Co-location service and support providers
  
• Colo equipment specification/purchasing
  
• Scaling of colo provision including servers/bandwidth/power
  
• DNS, server software, certificate and colo inventory management
  

Qualifications

• A UNIX (preferably Linux) background is essential
  
• Successful candidate will have three to five years' related experience including: knowledge of ISP carrier offerings, understanding of web applications.
  
• Perl scripting abilities, Knowledge and experience of Open Source software (compilation, installation, configuration etc)
  
• Knowledge of routers, switches, firewalls, proxies
  
• Basic DBA knowledge, with some experience of SQL
